Wine-Searcher Staff Writers


Diana Goodman Diana Goodman is a former BBC journalist who became the corporation’s first female foreign correspondent. She worked for the BBC for 27 years, based in London, Bonn, East Berlin and Moscow, becoming a familiar voice to listeners around the world. Since retiring from the BBC she has returned to her first love – print journalism – and is now employing her journalistic skills online at Wine-Searcher.
Rebecca Gibb Rebecca Gibb is a British journalist specializing in wine. In 2006 she won the UK's 'Young Wine Writer of the Year' and in 2010 was named 'Louis Roederer Emerging Wine Writer of the Year'. Having qualified as a Wine Educator with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, she worked at the London Wine Academy in 2009. She is now one of the youngest Master of Wine students in the world, combining her final studies with her work at Wine-Searcher.
Jonathan Reeve Jonathan Reeve – a linguist by training – moved into the wine industry to combine four key passions: wine, language, travel and photography. Traveling and working his way around the wine world for two years, he sampled every area of the industry, from tourism and retail to viticulture and winemaking. In 2009 he accepted the challenge of writing Wine-Searcher's 4000+ wine region and grape variety descriptions. He has been a full-time wine writer for the website ever since.
