Azal Tinto is a Portuguese dark grape variety used in the production of Vinho Verde. It is also known as Caiņo Longo, Caiņo Bravo and Caiņo Tinto and more fequently Amaral. Its grapes produce rustic wines with intense aromas. The variety's main contribution to blends is to add structure.
