Touriga Nacional is the vine variety used for port and, in small quantities, fine dry red wines. As well as Portugal, the vine is also planted in Australia where it is used in fortified wines. It is also known as Mortįgua (Ribatejo), Touriga (Australia), Azal Espanhol and Preto de Mortįgua.
