Notes: Blauer Wildbacher is an ancient grape mainly grown in, and thought to originate from, Austria. Used to produce still wines that are very acidic and drunk very young and also rosé sparkling wines that are mainly found in western Styria. The variety is also grown in small amounts in NW Italy and the nearby former Yugoslavian state of Slovenia.
