There are many sources of wine recommendations and tasting notes available, and it is worth trying a number of different reviewers until you find one that reflects your own tastes.

Each recommendation on the following pages has a clickable link to help you locate the stores that stock the wine.

• The Wine Spectator's top 100 wines for 2005, 2006 and 2007. A wide range of wines and price points, from well known classic wines to new finds for the year.
• Wines awarded 100 points by Robert Parker. Parker's top-rated wines come with top prices.
• Robin Garr picks his Top Value wines. The wines for 2007 range in price from under $8 to $50 (USD).

Wine Competitions:

• The San Francisco Chronicle's top rated wines for 2007 red and white. We also have the results for 2005 red and white. These tend to be value wines, suitable for everyday drinking.
• The San Francisco International Wine Competition 'Best of Show' wines for 2007.
