Arizona Wine - page 4

See the Arizona Wine Stores we list. Page 4 of 7.

Arizona wine growing region lies just west of New Mexico. The state concentrates on growing 'Vinifera' grapes in the very hot summers and very cold winters. The Terra Rossa (or red soil), in the southeast is particularly good for Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon vines but the most successful varieties are Syrah and Grenache as well as the Italian varietals, including Sangiovese and Pinot Grigio.
