Bissey-la-Maconnaise Wine

The Chardonnay grape accounts for two-thirds of wine produced in this area, and it is often blended with Pinot Blanc. For white wines the appellations, in descending order of quality, are: Macon, Macon Superieur, Macon Villages or Macon Bissey-la-Maconnaise. Red wine appellations are Macon, Macon Superieur and Macon Bissey-la-Maconnaise.
