Sous-Le-Puits is a Premier Cru vineyard on the Puligny-Montrachet side of the hills. The wines are fairly sturdy, if not robust, and appear to be a cross between a Chassagne-Montrachet and a Pommard. Recommended producers include Gilles Bouton.
