Blanche d'Armagnac Wine

Blanche d'Armagnac is the newest of the four appellations within the Armagnac region gaining AOC status in 2005.

There are several unique features of this brandy, not least of which is the colour. Armagnac is traditionally aged in oak barrels giving it a caramel hue, however Blanche d'Armagnac is as a clear spirit and is not matured in oak. This also means the resultant spirit is youthful, fresh and aromatic.

These brandies are usually made from Folle Blanche, Ugni Blanc and Baco Blanc sourced from designated parcels throughout the Armagnac region.

Unusually, each brandy from this region must be subject to an authorized assessment before being released to the market.
