Savennieres Wine - page 2

Savennieres is a white wine appellation of the Loire and is located immediately south west of Angers. The wines, made from Chenin Blanc, are highly concentrated and are long-lived. In its Napoleonic heyday, the wine was sweet. Today, however, the majority are dry and unusually concentrated because of vineyard yield restrictions. Page 2 of 18.
