Bandol is typically a deep-flavored red wine blend dominated by the Mourvedre grape. Bandol is one of the few regions in France where this particular grape variety can be relied upon to ripen. A small quantity of white Bandol is made from Bourboulenc, Clairette and Ugni Blanc.
