Wines from Buzet

Buzet, known until 1988 as Cotes de Buzet, is a red wine appellation producing Bordeaux-like wines. The local co-operative, Les Vignerons Reunis de Buzet, make all but a very small proportion of the wine. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot are the principal vines.
