Although Chianti, as a wine, is linked to a precise and well-defined geographical area, it is, in fact, a regional product. The production zone includes: the territories of numerous communes in the provinces of Siena, Florence, Arezzo, Pistoia and Pisa. Up to 90% of the blend should be the Sangiovese grape.
