Wines from Clos Saint Urbain

Some of the greatest wines of Alsace come not from the Grand Cru vineyards but vineyards entitled to be called 'Clos' (meaning 'walled'). The Domaine Zind-Humbrecht owns Clos Saint Urbain near the village of Thann. There they make long-lived Gewurtztraminer, Riesling and Tokay-Pinot Gris.
