Wines from Corbieres

Corbieres is considered to be the most important appellation in the Languedoc region; producing dense, herby red wines and a small amount of rose and white. Carignan is still the dominant grape variety, representing over half the vines planted. White Corbieres is a rare, but refreshing white wine made principally from Bourboulenc, Maccabeo and Grenache Blanc.
