Wines from Malaga

Malaga, a city in Andalucia, lends its name to a DO wine zone which produces rich, raisiny, fortified wines. Traditionally Malaga was a dried grape wine; today the wines are made using a number of different methods. Wherever the grapes are grown, Malaga wines must be aged in the city of Malaga itself to qualify for the DO.
