Wines from Muscat du Cap Corse

Muscat du Cap Corse was given full AC status in 1993. It is made from Muscat Blanc a Petits Grains grapes which were originally picked and left to dry in the sun to concentrate the sugars. Today, the grapes are picked at between 14 and 15% potential alcohol and made, by the addition of alcohol at an early stage of fermentation, into a relatively elegant Vin Doux Naturel.
