Made in red and rose versions, the Orta Nova wine takes its name from a commune located to the south of Foggia. It is made principally from Sangiovese and Uva di Troia grapes. The latter variety is also known as Uva della Marina, because it is cultivated, with excellent results in some areas, along the coast to the north of Bari. |
