Brandy from Pineau des Charentes |

|
Pineau des Charentes is the 'Vin de Liqueur' of the Cognac region. It is made by adding a year-old cognac, straight from the cask, to 'must' that is just fermenting. This produces a mixture of grape juice and brandy. Matured in cask, the final alcohol level is around 17-18%. |
