The appellation of Playies Melitona Red uses the Cabernet Franc (70%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) grape varieties to produce a dry red wine. A dry white, using Athiri (50%), Asyrtiko (15%) and Roditis (35%) grapes, is produced under the appellation of Playies Melitona White.
