Slovenia has established a successful wine industry with fully implemented and policed wine laws, a thriving private sector as well as co-operatives and negociants such as Vinag and Slovin. The wine law permits only the very best wine to be offered for sale in 75cl bottles and, as a result, exports can seem relatively expensive.
