Wines from St-Julien

St-Julien, a village appellation in the Haut-Medoc district of Bordeaux, has no first growth properties within its boundaries. As a result, its reputation is not as great as those of Pauillac and Margaux on its borders. However, it does have a number of fine second and third growth properties which produce long-lived blends of Cabernet and Merlot grapes.
