Valpolicella must be made from the following grape varieties: Corvina Veronese (Cruina or Corvina), Rondinella, Molinara with the possible addition of Rossignola, Negrara Trentina, Barbera and Sangiovese. There are well over 2,500 producers who make wines under this DOC.
