Cotes du Rhone Villages Signargues is an appellation for the rich, full-blooded red wines from the parishes of Domazan, Estezargues, Rochefort-du-Gard and Saze in the far south of the Rhone wine region in France. The vineyards that are permitted to claim the Cotes du Rhone Villages Signargues title are located only 30 miles (50km) from the Mediterranean coast, in a relatively flat area 15 miles (25km) to the south of the town of Orange. The area is the most southerly of the named Cotes du Rhone villages, and consequently one of the hottest.
