Cabernet Sauvignon – Carmenere is a blend of two dark red grape varieties that are both native to Bordeaux, but most commonly blended in Chile. Carmenere, the lesser known of the two grapes, has been grown in Bordeaux long before Cabernet Sauvignon even existed. Cabernet Sauvignon, a naturally occurring cross of Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc, has proven itself an ideal blending partner to Carmenere.

    Curico Valley is a wine-producing region in Chile's Central Valley. It is divided in two: the sub-region of Teno covers the northern part of the valley, and Lontue is in the south.
