Petite Sirah – Zinfandel is the blend of two dark-skinned grape varieties grown in California. The blend, alternatively written Durif – Primitivo (as Zinfandel is genetically identical to Primitivo and Durif is a widely used alternative name for Petite Sirah) is not common and generally limited to California; both constituent varieties are best suited to dry climates.
