    Curico Valley is a wine-producing region in Chile's Central Valley. It is divided in two: the sub-region of Teno covers the northern part of the valley, and Lontue is in the south. The valley is roughly 115 miles (185km) south of the Chilean capital, Santiago, and is located at a latitude of 35°S – a similar proximity to the Equator as the southern tip of Spain.
