  • Speyside is a whisky-producing region in the north-eastern corner of Scotland. The region derives its name from the River Spey, which runs through its center, and is world famous for its salmon fishing as well as whisky. Speyside's whiskies tend to be sweeter and slightly lighter in body than their counterparts from the Highlands or Islay and are considered to be some of the finest in the world.
