About Wine-Searcher

Wine-Searcher is a search engine of wine retailers' price lists and answers questions like:

• Where can I buy 2000 Cheval Blanc, and at what price?
• What DRC vintages are available in Europe, USA or anywhere?
• Which 1962 vintage wines are selling now?
• What is the value of my wine cellar?
• Which are the most expensive wines of the world?
• What are the wine regions/appellations in Bordeaux?
• Which New York wine stores are on the internet?
• Is the price of Ch. Haut Brion, 1990 increasing?
• What are the critic scores for Ch. Margaux, 2005?
• Who has a tasting note for Chateau Musar?

If you use the site to purchase wines, the transactions are between you and the seller. We do not receive any money from such sales.

Based on the feedback we get, we remove from the site any retailer with a poor service history. If you are a Pro Version user, please let us know about problems by using Contact Tracking. We record all such responses and use the information to improve the site for all.

How the site works

Wine-Searcher offers two distinct services.

1. The free-for-use service helps you to purchase a wine that is proving hard to find. All the wine retailers' price lists are searched; however, if the wine is stocked by one of Wine-Searcher's sponsors, other results do not show. The message 'Use the Pro Version to view all results' displays when the results have been limited in this way.

2. The 'Pro Version' subscription service locates the best prices and shows all the suppliers we can locate for your chosen wine, not just our sponsors' stores. Accessing the Pro Version costs $39.00 (USD) per year, and includes extra services such as searches by bottle size and tracking your purchases at multiple stores.

Wine-Searcher respects intellectual property, and takes any alleged intellectual property infringement seriously.
