I love the deep nose of fresh red plums with its wealth of delicate spicy nuances. Very concentrated and structured on the medium- to full-bodied palate, this pinot noir masterpiece is only just beginning to show what it’s made of. (2023) The 'P' is code for the Grand Cru Pfersigberg, where 45-year-old Pinot vines grow on limestone soils at 280 - to 320 metres. It was fermented with 50% whole clusters and maturated in oak barrels, 60% new. Similar medium ruby-crimson to the Muré, and a delightfully elegant cherry and raspberry fruit that is clear and fine. There's a gravelly, taut character to this and the oak adds just a touch of creaminess - no high toast here at all. In the mouth it has lovely texture, medium-bodied but silky. It stays composed, savoury and balanced, moving from sweet, fleshy red fruit to liquorice and endive, the whole palate picture very harmonious and long. Tannins here are ultra refined and the acid etches the finish.

A beautiful blend of Morello and ripe, red cherry rises from the glass, with a fine streak of white pepper. The palate is creamily seductive, yet also vividly bright, taut and fresh. A concentrated, pervasive freshness illuminates everything and makes this seem like an elixir. Elegant, profound and lovely.

Such pure red-cherry aromas with a wealth of spice and brambly elements. This has a very rich and powerful feel with some gently meaty elements, as well as a very fresh and fine palate that offers a smoothly composed and noble tannin feel. The palate has a very fresh and easygoing feel and soft, slinky tannins.
