Critic tasting note: (2019 vintage) "Averaen does an entry-level Willamette Valley bottling along with a lineup of single vineyard cuvées. The Flood Line blend is the middle tier, offering classic Oregon Pinot composition from this AVA. The earthy underpinnings nicely match the mix of red plum, strawberry and pie cherry fruit. Though not a big wine, it's fully ripened and sets the leafy herbal elements and pretty fruit against tea-like tannins with a touch of chicken stock. It was aged before bottling for 14 months in one-third new French oak. Paul Gregutt" - Wine Enthusiast
