Vinified to bring out the black fruits, this spicy wine offers juicy berry flavors and some firm fruit tannins. The wine, from a vineyard close to Cadillac, is likely to mature quickly. Drink late 2022. Roger Voss

Berry and toffee aromas here. It’s medium-bodied with round tannins and pleasing fruit. Some salted caramel in the aftertaste. I assume from new wood. But savory and flavorful. Better in 2022.

Tasted: Nov 2019
This structured, wood-aged wine is rich with tannins and bold blackberry fruits. Its ripeness and generous texture are just on the right side of over-the-top, saved by the acidity and fresh aftertaste. Drink the wine from 2021. Roger Voss
2015 Vintage
Tasted: Jul 2019
Aged in oak for 12 months, this rich wine is supple, lightly toasty and full of ripe red fruit. With a background of tannins, it's ready to age for another year. Drink from late 2018.
2010 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2017
This is a wine that is almost mature. With generous black fruits and tannins that are integrated into the texture, the wine is ripe and fruity. The acidity is still there, giving a crisp aftertaste. Drink now.

Tasted: Jan 2016
The wine is fruity with just the right amount of tannic structure. It has spice and some firm toasty wood flavors in the background. Let the wine open up and drink from 2017.

Tasted: Jan 2013
The aromas are of wood as much as fruit. While the palate also shows plenty of wood aging flavors, there is also a more floral, red berry fruit character that's already attractive. The acidity at the end gives intense freshness.

Tasted: Apr 2012
Some roasted notes, red and dark berries, medium bodied, on the tannic side, some herbal and leafy notes on the finish, medium length.
2010 Vintage
Tasted: Oct 2011
Attractive aromas of dark berries such as blueberries and hints of flowers and bark. Medium body, with soft tannins and a juicy fruit finish. Drink now and enjoy.
