Producer tasting notes: (2004 vintage) "Dark purple red colour. On the nose it is striking for the intensity and the wide range of aromas and very distinct flavors, like notes of plum, cherry and black currant jam, followed by notes of spices, hay, tea leaf, licorice and cocoa. Very pleasant and rich in taste on the palate revealing its structure. Complex tannins, very sweet and perfectly balanced with high acid structure. The aftertaste is long, fruity and wipe." - Bertani

Winter was wet and cold restoring the usual Valpolicella climate conditions. The regular spring enabled a normal blooming allowing a regular production in terms of quantity. There were splendid sunny days and cool nights during vintage time, the ideal combination for the maturation of Corvina grapes that were colourful and healthy.
