Critic tasting note: (2017 vintage) "(2019) Chardonnay from the south Burgundy, this has very little oak that I can detect, though there is perhaps a smidgeon giving a creamy almond and pastry touch to the ripe orchard fruits, maybe just a fleeting glimpse of something floral too. In the mouth it has medium body and a typically versatile combination of sweet fruit - but not too much of it - creamy texture and refined balancing acidity. Long with just a whisper of toast, it is fresh and appetising." - Tom Cannavan

Tasted: Jun 2015
Lots of exotic tropical fruit here with lively acidity. Medium to full-bodied, crisp and fruity. Macon made some excellent whites in 2013, a difficult year. Drink now.
2012 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2014
Warm and rounded, it offers rich pear and apricot fruits. It is textured as well, showing some fresh acidity, a touch of minerality from the terroir, and a tangy, zesty aftertaste. Drink now, but better at the end of 2014.
2011 Vintage
Tasted: Dec 2013
Ripe apple, nectarine, spicy, floral, lees aromas. Fresh, round, forward and juicy palate with light muscat, guava, red apple, citrus, spicy, buttery flavours. Good fruit and balance for current drinking and over the next few years. Fine value for Macon. (Stuart Tobe).
