This is among the top 10 most highly rated Margaux wines (based on critic scores): the 2024 vintage was given a score of 95 by Jean-Marc Quarin.
Expert tasting note: "Deep, dark purple-ruby in color. Lifted aromas are of raspberry, redcurrant & cassis. Dark fruit on the palate comprises pure cassis & black-cherry with a lovely velvety texture. The wine is of mid-weight with good freshness. Alcohol is well in balance. The structure is silky smooth & fine-grained tannins are supple & enduring with a cocoa powder-like grip. Very fresh acid lifts the fruit ensuring an impressive, long finish with good density." - 04/25 ep DCAMW
