An expansive, almost monumental carmenere that comes from vines planted in the 1980s in the Peumo zone on the sunny slopes overlooking the Cachapoal River. After 16 months in barrels, it has notes of toasted oak and is full of succulent ripe fruit that expands across the palate like thick cream. The acidity does a good job of balancing it all out.
