Blended with 10% Alicante Bouchet, the sweet, dusty nose of this red is generously juicy, with supple dried fruit that highlights this estate wine—the vines first planted in 1904 (at what was once known as the Robert Rue Vineyard). Made in a full-bodied, generous style, it offers structure and lush layers of plum, dark cherry and a lasting twist of nutmeg. Virginie Boone
