Bright, even, pale yellow. The nose is voluminous, with aromas of gooseberry, citrus, nettle and jalapeno. Medium-light bodied, aromas of lime, grapefruit and gooseberry melded with nettle, subtle jalapeno spice and minerals. The wine is crisp, vibrant and fine-textured. Invigorating acidity flushes through the palate and lends a taut, appetising finish. Match with raw shellfish and fish & chips over the next 2-3 years. Fruit from Wairau Valley, fermented to 13% alc, 1.58 g/l RS.

Bright, even, very pale yellow with a light green sheen. The nose is full and vibrant, packed with aromas of whitecurrant, lime, tomato vines and blossom. Light-bodied, aromas of lime and whitecurrant entwined with tomato vines and lime blossom. The fruit shows depth; taut acidity flows effortlessly with a touch of saline, lending a crisp, refreshing closing. Match this with steamed mussels and sole fish over the next 2-3 years. Fruit from Lower Wairau Valley, fermented to 12.5% alc. Vegan friendly.

Pungent, fruity, ripe and varietal with a bouquet palate filled with flavours of fresh basil and tropical fruits, some crunchy red bell-pepper, grapefruit and red apple. Crisp, crunchy, fruity and just dry on the palate. Plenty of acidity and freshness, a classic expression, pungent and plush. Best drinking from 2024 through 2027.

Vibrant, very fresh with a rush of fresh herb aromas then tropical fruits suggesting mango, lychee and pineapple. Citrus and apple then mineral moments of wet stone. A rather nicely complete bouquet. On the palate - crisp and crunchy texture, flavours of citrus then tropical. Lighter weighted example with a vibrant fresh herb finish. Balanced and well made, ready to enjoy from today and through2023.

Intense aromatics, with attractive grapefruit, passi on fruit, lemon zest and flinty complexity. A high quality, concentrated, vibrantly flavoured wine, with well-handled sulphides giving complexity. Impressive.

Tasted: Aug 2019
This has attractively fresh aromas of gooseberries and apples with fresh and zesty, lime and papaya flavors and a crisp, gently spicy, saffron-like edge to close. Very taut. Drink now. Screw cap.

Still admirably fresh, Delta's 2009 Sauvignon Blanc features pretty straightforward Marlborough traits of red bell pepper, passion fruit and grapefruit in a medium-bodied format. Drink up.

Tasted: Jan 2010
Typical Sauvignon, well executed. Struck flint aromas add an intriguing aspect to this wine, which otherwise delivers melon and fig notes on the midpalate and a zesty, citrusy finish.
