Expert tasting note: (2024 vintage) "Deep, dark not quite opaque ruby-red. Restrained aromas are of blackcurrant. The palate shows vivid cassis, a chocolatey-smooth structure & graphite notes that restrain the fruit a little. Tannins are fine & the very fresh acidity leaves them a little angular. The mid-palate has vibrant, juicy blackcurrant fruit, it is both structured & fresh. Alcohol adds a little warmth. Tannins on the finish are earthy & supple. Some cedary spices overlay cassis fruit." - 04/25 ep DCAMW

Deep garnet-purple colored. Notes of fruit cake and stewed black cherries hop from the glass with hints of anise and hoisin in the background. The light to medium-bodied palate is soft and approachable with just enough freshness and a lifted finish.

Nez intense et frais, exprimant cassis, menthe avec de légères notes de pain grillé. Belle prise en bouche, fraîche et légèrement veloutée, jouant sur le caractère de certains fruits avec quelques notes boisées en accompagnement. La matière tannique exprime ses reliefs mais aussi sa puissance, le temps d’élevage permettra de la délier de bonne manière. On retrouve ces belles notes de menthe en fin de bouche qui allongent la longueur et décuplent la fraîcheur, ce qui est un très bon signe pour l’évolution et la capacité de garde de ce vin. Un très bon classique en devenir ! 93-94/100
