Producer tasting notes: (2014 vintage) "As for the dry white Esprit de Chevalier, this barrel-aged second wine is rich, lively, and complex with very pure aromas. Esprit de Chevalier blanc is a fruity, classy wine, but more open than the grand vin and therefore a treat to drink young. Oliver Bernard" - Domaine de Chevalier

- Producer Notes
- It is thanks to a terroir of high viticultural aptitude, but also to a very selective approach, that Domaine de Chevalier is recognized for its ability to produce great wines, even in small vintages. Born in 1989, the second wine, named "l'Esprit de Chevalier", is the concretization of this approach. During the assemblies of the property, it mainly integrates the harvest from young vines as well as the vats which do not quite have the structure and precision of the Grand wine. L'Esprit is also a way of making wine: it bears the imprint and reflects "the Spirit" of the estate: power and complexity, but above all finesse and elegance. It is a seductive wine, which is appreciated younger than the great wine.
