One of the wines that in the last 30 years have made the history of the denomination in its entirety. The name of this wine reveals the importance of the vineyard: the "Ciabot" is a house among the vines, almost a shelter for tools; while "Mentin" is the owner from whom Domenico bought his plot of land.

Mittleres Rubin, schöner Glanz. Sehr offene, ausdrucksstarke Nase, eingekochte Früchte, Erdbeere, Kirsche, Kräuter, wirkt recht exotisch aber auch sehr komplex. Im Gaumen ein Mix aus Wärme und einer gewissen Krautigkeit, die Gerbstoffe sind markant, noch jugendlich, eine signifikante jedoch gut integrierte Säure verleiht viel Frische. Im Abgang mit sehr schöner Länge, endet ungemein würzig und charaktervoll. Der Wein braucht definitiv noch etwas Reife, dürfte dann aber ein langes Trinkfenster bieten. 2025 bis 2037+ 19+ vvPunkte (94+/100)
