Critic tasting note: (2021 vintage) "Doña Paula planted the Los Indios Vineyard in 2006, in the south of the Uco Valley, in the area of El Cepillo, a place with strong temperature oscillations, cool nights, and frequent frosts that decimate the vineyard. A mountain desert at about 1,100 meters above sea level, which produces wines with powerful fruit and strong tannins at the same time. This one goes in that direction, with the added bonus of radiant fruit flavors and tart red fruits in the middle of the herbs over firm tannins that call for meat. This is a wine for aging, although it is tempting now with smoked pork." - Patricio Tapia - Descorchados

Vintage quality: Good
Current condition: Keep
The 2021 vintage for Argentina was interesting.
The growing season was wetter and colder than usual, with the cool, damp conditions persisting into the summer but not before the spring saw some significant frosts, which cut yields dramatically.
The cool humidity meant producers ha...
