Critic tasting note: (2022 vintage) "From the MGA Le Coste, in Monforte d’Alba, and grapes from the 'Bell of Respect' off the vineyards near their non-organic neighbours, this Nebbiolo is rooted in calcareous clays at 400m. After a stainless ferment, this aged 1 year in French barriques. Pretty wild strawberry, cherry, and raspberry stream through the fine, firm palate, with long and lithe tannins, and easy lofted acidity to carry this through a lingering saline finish. Feels like it needs more time in bottle to relax some, or partner it with truffled pasta now.Treve Ring" - Gismondi on Wine

From the MGA Le Coste, in Monforte d’Alba, and grapes from the 'Bell of Respect' off the vineyards near their non-organic neighbours, this Nebbiolo is rooted in calcareous clays at 400m. After a stainless ferment, this aged 1 year in French barriques. Wild cherry, fragrant raspberry, dried roses is carried with lifted tart acidity, and framed with long, tightly grippy tannins. This finishes with crushed stones and cherry blossoms. Very charming, this medium bodied red is tasting beauty now (try with truffles) but will hold over the next few years easy. (Treve Ring).

Floreale e decisamente vivace al naso alterna note di ibisco, giacinto, sambuco e tiglio. Corpo medio, tannini soffici ed un finale di piacevole succosità e distensione. Bevi ora o invecchia.

Intensives Rubinrot. Typisches, elegantes Bouquet nach Veilchen, Beeren, Sauerkirschen und Pfeffer. Voller, frischer und kräftiger Geschmack, mit gutem Korper und guter Länge.

Tasted: Jan 2018
Bright strawberries in a fragrant mode, as well as some cedary oak punch. There's a wealth of punchy cherries on offer. Good concentration and balanced fruit for the ample structure, too. Drink or hold.
2013 Vintage
Tasted: Nov 2015
A soft, silky red with some red-beet and orange-peel character. Full body, tangy acidity and a fruity finish. Lacks a little bit of a mid-palate but delicious. Drink now.
2011 Vintage
Tasted: Mar 2015
Wow. This is bright and focused with gorgeous fruit. Lots of dried strawberries and spices. Full to medium body. Fresh finish. Barolo quality here. Drink now.
