Critic tasting note: (2016 vintage) "Deep nose, withholding an array of sweet fruit, such as ripe blackberries, crushed mulberries and raisins. There is also an iodine note. Bold, concentrated flavors on the palate, drenched in polished, silky tannin that props up this chunk of flavor. A blend of 80% malbec, 10% syrah and 10% cabernet sauvignon. Drinkable now, but needs more time. Better after 2021." - James Suckling

A firm and well-structured wine with plenty of spice and bark character. The fruit aromas are on the ripe side and showing some maturity now. Rather firm at the finish. Drink now with hearty food.

Tasted: May 2016
A red with layers of ripe fruit and silky tannins. Rich and dense with so much going on here. Hints of raw meat too. Exotic and stylish red. A blend of mostly malbec with cabernet sauvignon and syrah. Drink or hold.
2010 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2013
This driving blend of Malbec with Syrah and Cabernet hails from Argentina's most northern vineyards.Bruising black plum and cassis aromas have mossy, floral sidenotes. It's grapy but not monotone, so you get boysenberry then spice flavors, especially clove. This is toasty on the finish, which has drying tannins.
