Kräftiges Rubingranat, dunkler Kern, zarte Ockerreflexe, dezente Randaufhellung. Klassische Barolo-Noten nach schwarzen Beeren, Trüffeln, getrocknete Kräuter, facettenreiche Aromatik. Stoffig und würzig, süße Textur, salzig-mineralisch, bleibt gut haften, dunkler Nougat im Nachhall, tolles Potenzial für viele weitere Jahre, einer der großen Gaja-Klassiker. - Peter Moser

We tried this wine following a decanting of 1.5 hours. The wine was a dark brownish red colour. Very well balanced, neither alcohol nor tannins nor acidity stood out - the structure was in perfect harmony. Very smooth and drinkable. Tasted vanilla, berries, pepper, green pepper, and earthy flavours
