Notas de especiaria e ameixas, e flores azuis. Em boca, é suculento e com bela picância que brilha sobre os taninos. A madeira da passagem entre 16 e 18 meses por barricas de carvalho francês, sendo 60% novas, está presente em segundo plano e aparece um iogurte ao fim de boca. Notas de pimenta e cravo.

Deep, dark ruby to purple color, not quite opaque. The plush, jammy aromas are of dark plum, raisin & cocoa. The palate shows ripe red fruit in the form of dark red-plums. It is firmly structured, but becomes smooth & velvety, almost silky textured. Acidity is in balance & the concentrated ripe fruit balances the alcohol leaving rich, ripe red-fruit on the finish. 04/24 (ep) DCAMW

The wine is medium to full bodied, with alcohol adding warmth & roundness to the finish. The finish combines hedonistic dark-fruit with exoitic, cedary oak-derived spices. The dark fruit on the palate has tobacco-leaf notes & liquorice ripeness. There is plenty of structure but the acidity is insufficient to lift the fruit.
