2016 Vintage
Tasted: Oct 2019
When to drink: 2019
to 2024
Tiefdunkles Rot. Genialer Trinkwein!
2012 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2015
A very pretty-smelling wine here with a red-fruit tinge to the deeper blackcurrant and blackberry fruits that lie behind. Hints of purple flowers, brambles, fresh leaf litter, liquorice and baking spices. Bright and lifted on the palate where flavors transpose across from the aromas perfectly, lingering on the finish with a waterfall of gravely tannins providing ample backbone. Drink in 2018.
2003 Vintage
Tasted: Sep 2007
Spicy, peppery, cassis, blueberry, minty, violet aromas. Soft, round, dry palate but quite fresh with lean tannins. Peppery, cassis, licorice root, cherry, coffee, resiny, cola, coffee flavours. Finish is quite tight and hard, needs food or a couple years in bottle. (Anthony Gismondi and Stuart Tobe).
2004 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2007
A lean, restrained style of Barossa Cabernet, with minty, herbal aromas and crisp cassis fruit. Nicely balanced, and it should drink well over the next several years.

2002 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2006
Has aromas of crisp fruit, cola and bramble. On the palate the wine's plum and earth flavors are more restrained than rambunctious. An elegant style with fine, tea-like tannins on the finish. Imported by Wilson Daniels Ltd.
2001 Vintage
Tasted: Jan 2004
Fruit on the nose has a stewed quality, plus a hint of leafiness. On the palate, blackberry and plum fruit wears a cloak of woody tannins. Juicy, and an easy drinker.
