This is smoky and toasty with dark plums, sweet spices, crushed walnuts and tar on offer. Full and creamy with luscious character and chewy tannins. Toasty, astringent finish. Drink or hold.

Owned by the Arnand family, this wine comes Saint-Croix du Mont. It is structured, with solid, dry tannins that support the buoyant blackberry fruits. The wine will be ready from 2023. Roger Voss

(2008) Lots of oak here, with a slightly. Firm and perhaps over extracted palate, though fruit sweetness begins to come through. Inky, but has power and density for this vintage.

Souple en bouche, tannins fondus mais un peu métallique, juteux, bien construit mais un peu végétal en fin de bouche.
