Aromas of black and red fruit, and cedar, characteristic of Lafite’s wines, then emerge. On the palate, the attack is impressive thanks to a remarkable blend that expresses its full harmony and power in a long, fresh finish. From there you experience a cornucopia of aromatics meshing tobacco leaf, cigar box, cedar chest, red currants, cherries, red plums, 5 spice, flowers and earthy scents. Rich yet incredibly refined, the wine offers incredibly silky textures, a beautiful purity to the fruit and a seamless finish that exceeds 60 seconds. Produced from a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8.5% Merlot and .5% Petit Verdot,13.3% ABV.

Anfangs verhaltene jedoch sehr noble Nase, distinguiert, floral, mit Cabernet Würze, einem Hauch grüner Paprika, dazu Gräser, getrocknete Kräuter, Anflüge von Tee, hochkomplex, sehr tiefgründig. Im Auftakt feingliedrig, mittlerer Körper, ungemein elegant, alles ist an seinem Platz, die Frucht wirkt delikat, ist getragen von einer ausgezeichneten Struktur, die Tannine sind von höchster Güte, das ist frisch, tänzerisch leicht und dennoch durch eine hohe Konzentration geprägt, zieht sich im Abgang sehr lange hin, endet auf Sauerkirschen und eine Kräuterwürze.
