Fruity and bright red with notes of cherries and walnuts. Medium-bodied, juicy and fine-textured. Already delicious.

Like most estates in Pessac-Léognan, Brown makes white wines. The second wine, this is mainly Sauvignon Blanc, with a grassy edge and bright acidity. Its freshness is softened by wood aging. Drink from 2024.

Tasted: Apr 2023
This second wine is dense with black fruits and dark chocolate flavors, giving a sense of extraction that needs to soften. When that happens, it will be ripe and full bodied. Drink from 2026.

Aromas of ripe berry, spice box, sweet tobacco, chocolate, dried orange peels and graphite. Medium- to full-bodied with layers of firm, fine-grained tannins. Its velvety and broad with a lingering finish. Needs a few years to settle down. Try after 2025.

Ripe and juicy, this is the second wine from the estate. It is bright, with acidity and black-currant flavors that partner easily with the tannic structure and acidity. The wine will develop well. Drink from 2025. Roger Voss

Ripe-blackberry, blueberry, graphite, dark-chocolate and sandalwood aromas. It’s medium-to full-bodied with firm, fine-grained tannins. Supple and polished. Pretty second wine. Gorgeous already, but better from 2023.
